Children and Family Ministries

Children in Worship

On Sundays, we invite our children 5 years old through 5th grade to attend worship until it is time for the sermon. Then they are welcome to leave to the Education Building for Children’s Church. They will return to the Sanctuary after the sermon to join their families for the offertory, prayer, and communion (on the first Sunday of the month). No matter the age of the child, you are always welcome to keep them in the sanctuary with you. Children under the age of 5 are invited to spend time in our staffed nursery with you or you can drop them off. A family care area can be found in the Sanctuary building.

Vacation Bible School

Each Summer we team up with the other churches in the area to provide a free week long program for the families of the community.  During this time the children learn a Bible theme through story telling, science experiments, crafts, recreation, and snacks.  This program is put on by volunteers who are all background checked and fingerprinted.  Registrations will be open in the spring.  VBS 2025 will be taking place June 16-20.

Family Ministries

Through out the year, we offer church field trips. In participating on these trips, churchgoers are able to connect with each other while exploring what our local communities have to offer. Past field trips have included Professor Pennypickle’s Workshop in Temecula, Willowbrook Apple Farm in Oak Glen, and The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. During the summer, we have a family camp where families can go spend time in the outdoors exploring and worshiping together. We are always looking for ways to enrich the lives of our families. If you feel we are missing something or would like to get involved, please contact Shelby Nelson with your ideas.
