Joanna Oxendine will be our guest speaker. She will bring her witness to the pulpit. Please be there to hear her story. We are very excited to hear her message.

The women of the church will lead the service. Don’t miss this outstanding event. It’s our opportunity to tell the church of our missions here and abroad!

Mark your calendars for the upcoming United Methodist Women’s “Eat Pray Love” Mini-Retreat February 8th & 9th 2019!  This mini-retreat will be held right here in Redlands at Mission Gables House, 25 Grant Street, on Friday evening the 8th and all day Saturday the 9th. Please join us as we gather together for inspiration and activities centered around the theme of “Eat, Pray, Love.”  Program content will be provided by Cheryl Raine, Karen Gardner, and Janee Both-Gragg, and activities will be provided by many of our own Redlands First Church women!  The cost is just $50, and partial and full scholarships are available.

A great time was had at our Christmas Brunch. We were entertained by St. Mary’s of Redlands Ballet Folklorico. The theme was Feliz Navidad. There were about 80 in attendance as we enjoyed our brunch catered by Lucy Wiker and served by FUMC Youth. A big thank you to the Youth and Director Shelby Nelson.

Following a brief business meeting and election of UMW Officers, Dr. Greenleaf installed the officers for 2019. Thank you, J T!

Door prizes were given out and the awarding of the $100.00 Money Tree. The money raised by the tree was given to David and Margaret Youth and Family Services.

Dr. Crisp led us in the Blessing of Food and the singing of Silent Night after the festivities.  Thank you, George!
